Law Firm Imamkhan is founded by Rachel Imamkhan
and specializes in Criminal law, Immigration Law and Administrative law.
In 2004 Rachel Imamkhan graduated in Administrative and Constitutional law at the VU University in Amsterdam. She worked as a legal advisor in the field of administrative law in different public agencies and in government.
In 2006 she started working as a lawyer in the field of Criminal and Immigration Law. In 2011 she worked for different NGOs in Asia specializing in the labor rights of immigrants and human trafficking in South East Asia. She has written a report about the mechanism of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights.
She also cooperates with the Mekong Migration Network and the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW) based in Thailand. In 2005 she founded PrisonLAW, which provides legal advice for Dutch Prisoners abroad. She is a member of the Dutch Association of Immigration Lawyers and Social Advocacy Association Amsterdam.
